I am so glad we serve a God of new beginnings!  This blog is one of them!   I am a “vintage” woman,   yet a child of God through the atonement of His Son Jesus Christ.  I am passionate about my Lord, treasure my family, and take great delight in music, writing, and all things creative!  I am honored to have been married to the God-chosen love of my life,  John,  for 44 years, serving together in pastoral ministry for 21 of them,  and in various other ministries in the years following.  We’ve been amazingly blessed with three daughters, two sons-in-law, six granddaughters, and 1 grandson.

God continues to be faithful, doing far more than we could ever think or imagine, and showering us with His goodness and grace, way up here in the beautiful Mt. Washington Valley of NH.

Sharing a daily devotional thought on my face book page for a little over a year now has become a treasured part of my morning routine.  For several months, God and a few other people have been been nudging me to do a blog.  It’s been on my to-do list for some time, making it to the top today.  As I experienced some on-going technical difficulties, my suspicions were confirmed that my morning ponderings with the Lord really were better suited to blog.  Thankfully, His mercies are new every morning, and I trust he will guide me through this, as yet,  uncharted territory.  My musings are not earth-shaking, nor are they “new revelations.”  They’re just the heart thoughts of a woman who seeks to keep her eyes fixed on Jesus and see life through His eyes.  I hope you will stop by and join me, leaving your thoughts from time to time.  I believe God has much for us to learn from each other.  So grab a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever is your choice,  and “sit a spell,” as  I share “the view from here.”

Be blessed!   Peg
